You might be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, or major life transitions that have left you feeling stuck or unsure how to find your footing again. Maybe you feel the weight of feeling emotionally responsible for others, where you are so tuned into everyone else’s needs that your own get pushed to the side.
Some of the people I work with are overwhelmed, self-doubting, emotionally exhausted, or just trying to get through the day without everything falling apart. In our work together, we slow things down and make space for what you have been carrying so you can start to feel more grounded, connected to yourself, and able to move toward a life that actually feels like yours.
I’m Monika, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. I support individuals who feel stuck in patterns they can see but can’t quite shift, especially when those patterns show up in relationships, self-worth, and emotional regulation.
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and collaborative. Instead of rushing to “fix” things, we’ll take the time to understand what is actually happening beneath your patterns without judgment, get curious about where they come from and why they have made sense for you. From there, we’ll work on gently shifting the patterns that no longer serve you, so you can start to create new ways of relating to yourself and others that feel more aligned with who you are becoming.
I incorporate inner child work to help you reconnect with the parts of you that still carry unmet needs and learned survival strategies from earlier experiences. I also offer EMDR to support processing and integrating painful or overwhelming experiences in a way that feels more embodied and lasting, not just intellectual.
